Ghana is a beneficiary to a project on the development of National Legal Databases for capacity-building to enhance access to environmental law information among selected countries in Africa . The Project is being implemented with support from the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). At the national level, the Project is being implemented by the Environmental Protection Agency.

GHANALEX , the Ghana Legal Environmental Information.provides information on environmental law and policy to enhance public participation in decision-making for sustainable environment and natural resources management. GHANALEX targets the public, legal practitioners, public interest litigation; government officials, the civil society, the academia, magistrates and judges that will need a readily available information for informed decision-making.
